Context Web Design

It may seem like a big call to be making predictions about website design in 20 years’ time, particularly considering how fast technology and trends seem to be evolving, but let us explain.

While a new technology or trend may be heralded as the ‘next big thing’ – the truth is a little less exciting. All of today’s ‘big things’ have taken 20-30 years to get here and become the norm. Baby Boomers

As Australia’s largest demographic, the Baby Boomers (born 1946-1964), present a unique challenge for businesses and owners of websites. Because of a high post-WWII birth rate and immigration this generation now represent around a quarter of our entire population. While people understand that it’s unlikely your site and social media will be monitored all day, every day they do expect to be able to receive answers to basic questions whenever they want. How do you do this? Simple – ensure that your website and social media platforms have content which is easy to understand and engaging.
