3 Strategies for Content Marketing Success – Part 3

Recently we have discussed the first and second strategies for content marketing success, now we will work through the third strategy to help you succeed with your content marketing.

Create a seamless customer experience

At all costs, avoid creating a fractured customer experience. The cost of an ineffective content marketing strategy to your brand and business can be massive. A lack of strategy will lead to disconnected touch points, inconsistent messaging and poorly executed content. Instead of building trust and relationships you will only succeed in eroding customer confidence in your brand, your product, your service, your business. When you don’t have an effective strategy in place, your content will have a short shelf life, your budget will be wasted, and you will fail to grow your bottom line.

A quick and easy fix to improve the customer experience is to include links to your landing pages right there within your content. It will provide a seamless transition from one piece of your content to the next. The easier the journey, the more likely that are to complete that journey and began a customer or even a repeat customer and brand advocate.

Overall you must ensure that your content marketing strategy matches your business and your resources. There is absolutely no point in creating and implementing a strategy not suitable for your sized business. Match your available resources to your business objectives. Once you have objectives, resources and strategy aligned, balanced and agreed upon the rollout of your content marketing strategy will be a lot more straightforward, manageable and achievable.

Last point; never ever forget that your audience and their relationship with you must be at the heart of all content marketing endeavours.
